AVOID A C-SECTION: Most bridged pregnancy cesareans are unecessary, if detected early and the expectant mother is treated with acupuncture and or moxibustion at least a few days before the expected date of delivery. Acupuncture and or moxibustion is applied to certain points on the legs and feet of the expectant mother. The earlier the better, and treatment outcome must be monitored by sonogram. In most cases, the fetus will turn to normal position.

It is important to know that C-sections are sometimes medically necessary. However, a C-section due to bridged pregnancy is uncommon in countries where acupuncture is normaly used to correct the problem. Many people still do not know about this option. Be aware that acupuncture is a medical treatment available in this country.
