TRADITIONAL CHINESE HERBAL FORMULAS:

This list provides a collection of names of some commonly used TCM herbal formulas. TCM herbal formulas and single herbal products come in many forms. For oral administration: pills, extract powders (granules), liquid vials, and whole herbal mixtures that can be boiled and taken as an infusion. For topical use: cream and solutions. In modern practice of TCM, intramuscular injections and enemas are also used (herbal infusions for i.v. administration are available at TCM hospitals).  

Here are some of the most commonly used formulas. Some of the names will appear literally from Chinese or described in TCM terms (becoming familiar with TCM terms may be necessary to grasp the meanings):
